Intel readjusts NOR flash marketing strategy

Declining margins for NOR flash production has pushed Intel to readjust its marketing strategy as a multi-chip packed memory supplier in the Asia handset markets. However, Intel is now selling its NOR flash to design houses like Etron Technology, with the design houses dealing with handset vendors directly, the sources explained.
