Western Digital earnings triple
Western Digital, one of the worlds largest hard drive manufacturers, saw their profits triple over the last fiscal quarter as the company's sales beat expectations.
The company said it earned $211 million, or 93 cents per share, in the quarter ended Sept. 26. Analysts were expecting the company to earn 81 cents per share, according to a survey by Thomson Reuters.
