Kingston Launches microSD Collegiate Cards

Kingston Technology is releasing microSD 'Collegiate' cards that offer mobile consumers the opportunity to show their school pride--on the go. These are pretty neat, but too bad I went to a smaller state college that was more about smarts than fight songs! On the other hand plenty of my friends that went to Mizzou are in luck.

"The growing popularity of microSD cards in mobile phones has made them an invaluable tool for moving contact info and mobile data when changing phones, or transferring files between PCs and phones, for students and professionals alike,” said Wendy Lecot, Flash memory marketing manager, Kingston. "With our microSD Collegiate cards anyone can easily show their school pride everywhere they go,” continued Lecot. "For mobile phones that permit the level of personalization, consumers can even attach distinctive ringtones or wallpapers to caller-ID contacts associated with other schools.”
