Rumor: ATI Crossfire RD580 delayed till February
ATI's original plan was to launch its new Radeon X1900 (R580) cards together with its new chipset with the codname RD580 together, but The Inq. says that is not the case. The ATI Crossfire Radeon Xpress motherboards are going to be delayed till February.
The original plan was to launch its new Radeon X1900 (R580) cards together with its new chipset codename RD580-based Crossfire Radeon Xpress 3200 boards. The graphics chipster will launch the X1900 cards tomorrow but the motherboards will be on hold for at least a few more weeks, we learn.
