Google Introduces Nexus 4 Smartphone and Nexus 10 Tablet

Google's Android team has announced the latest Android devices, including the long-rumored Nexus 4 phone made by LG and Nexus 10 tablet made by Samsung. The two devices join the Nexus 7 made by ASUS and complete the tablet lineup.

The Nexus 10, is a powerful device that marries Samsung’s best-in-class hardware, the latest version of Android—4.2 Jelly Bean, and the best of Google. With the world’s highest resolution tablet display (2560 x 1600) and a 1.7 GHz A15 dual-core processor along with 2GB of RAM, it looks like a very nice tablet! The 16GB version of the Nexus 10 will start at $399. The new Nexus 4 phone, which is made by LG, is going to replace the Samsung Galaxy Nexus phone that came out about a year ago. The phone has a large 4.7-inch screen with a high-resolution 1280 x 768 display, and a fast quad-core S4 Pro processor. The camera on the phone has also been updated (it was one of the major pain points of the last version) -- it now has an 8-megapixel camera on the back and a 1.3-megapixel camera on the front for video chatting. The $299 base version has 8GB of storage and a $349 version will have 16GB of space. The Google Nexus 7 has had some price cuts lately and is now available at $199 for the 16GB version and $249 for the 32GB version.
