Apple has made the announcement we have been expecting for weeks due to obvious leaks, likely from Apple's supply chain. The new iPad mini has a 7.9" (1,024 x 768) display with a FaceTime HD front camera and a 5 megapixel 1080P rear camera. It will be powered by the now familiar Dual-core A5 chip and Apple claims up to 10 hours of battery life like its larger sibling. It will be offered in wi-fi only and cellular capable configurations from 16GB to 64GB in capacity with the wi-fi models shipping November 2nd and the rest following two weeks later with pre-orderes starting October 26th. Pricing is listed as follows: $329 (16GB WiFi), $459 (16GB LTE), $429 (32GB), $559 (32GB LTE), $519 (64GB) & $659 (64GB LTE).
