BenQ Introduces the XL2411T Gaming Monitor With True 120Hz Support for 3D Vision 2
BenQ has quietly announced a new XL series 120Hz gaming monitor, the XL2411T. At 24" in size, it features 1920x1080 resolution, true 120Hz support for NVIDIA's 3D Vision 2 technology, 1ms G2G response time, 1000:1 native contrast ratio, 170/160 viewing angle capability, D-sub / DVI-DL / HDMI x 1 / headphone jack connectors and green-friendly 22W power usage.
It features Black eQualizer to help improve detail in dark images, supports 1:1 pixel mapping, allowing video resolution to be reduced without stretching the picture across over the whole screen which introduces problems of lowered picture fidelity and input lag. It also has two FPS modes, which adjusts brightness, contrast, sharpness and color tint. FPS1 optimises the monitor for playing Counter-Strike 1.6 and FPS2 for Counter-Strike: Source. Input lag is rated at a low 0.001 frames, virtually eliminating it. The stand has full adjustability, allowing the screen to be raised, swivelled 45/45 degrees, tilted and rotated 90 degrees. Overall, this looks like a nice gaming monitor. Price and availability have not been announced yet.
