Leaked pictures: Slimmer, Taller 'iPhone 5' Compared to Previous iPhones
As the assumed launch date of September 12 for the next gen 'iPhone 5' draws closer, more leaked pictures of the new smartphone are tipping up.
Firstly, the new iPhone is noticeably thinner than the iPhone 3 and even the iPhone 4, plus it's a bit taller by perhaps 1cm. There's some weight to the validity of these pictures too, since these have been seen in other leaks as well. The bottom picture shows a mystery hole between the camera lens and LED flash.
Finally, The Wall Street Journal reported that there is the possibility that supplies of the new iPhone may be constrained due to parts shortages due to Apple's display manufacturing partner, Sharp, having hit delays in shipping LCD panels.
