Scythe Announces New Easy Mobile Rack For 3.5-Inch HDDs

Scythe is at it again, with their announcement of the new Easy Mobile Rack. The Easy Mobile Rack is of course a mounting-bay for 3.5-inch HDDs and is meant to be installed in a vacant 5.25-inch bay. The unit, comes in black in order to be visually compatible with great deal of PC Chassis on the market. The Scythe Easy Mobile Rack is easy to install, simply sliding into a 5.25-inch bay and is secured with a few screws which are included. After that, a user only has to attach the SATA power cable from the power supply and SATA data cable from the motherboard to the back of the unit. Once this is completed, users can insert 3.5-inch HDDs without further delay. The Easy Mobile Rack comes with Hot Plug support as well, so users can insert and remove HDDs with the PC still up and running. The products dimensions are 148.5 x 42.5 x 177 mm and it weighs in at 180g. The Scythe Easy Mobile Rack has an MSRP of €8.25, which comes to $10.28 when converted.
