EK Water Blocks Makes AMD Radeon HD 7970 Water Block
EK Water Blocks has posted up a picture of their custom water cooling block for the AMD Radeon HD 7970 video card on their Facebook page. Nothing else was said about the block other than the part number was - EK-FC 7970. By looking at the picture it looks like a copper block that uses an acetal top. As you can see this is an early engineering sample of the card as it has the red PCB and two 6-pin power connectors. Retails cards have a black PCB and both a 6-pin and 8-pin PCIe power connector. EK Water Blocks mentioned that they will be making the same top in plexi version! EK Water Blocks did not give out other specifications, price, or availability.
