Overclocking Results
Overclocking is incredibly easy on the Core i7 platform. We were able to see some amazing results from both boards we have looked at so far. The Intel DX58SO has been the best overclocker so far. At stock settings we almost reached a 4.0GHz overclock. We just could not push it over the mark at the default multiplier. Take a look and see what we got..
We SO wanted to get 4.0G! So, we set the multiplier to 21x, and low and behold, we got a little more out of it... take a look!
That is right! We finally broke the barrier! We are looking forward to having more time with the Core i7 CPU!
