Packaging and ModulesThe Dominator GTs shipped to me in a deceptively plain looking box. Nestled within the AirPlus packaging were three plastic sleeves with the modules and a cardboard box with the Dominator AirFlow fan.
The modules themselves feature Corsair's Dominator heatspreaders with a twist. The standard heatspreaders are epoxied to the ICs and the PCB, but the fins on top are now removable. Corsair has tried to cater to the enthusiast even more with the release of a TEC chilled waterblock that screws into the top of the modules. Last I checked they were working on a controller to keep condensation from forming, but chilling these modules may help pull a few additional MHz out of them.
Just to give you an idea of how tall these modules are, I have inserted a standard height module in front of the Dominator GT module. The Dominator GT modules are a good 75% taller and loom over the standard module height. On some boards there are fitment issues with large CPU heatsinks and these modules, so keep this in mind.
