PC Mark Vantage- Memory

PCMARK Vantage

PCMark Vantage is a PC benchmark suite designed for Windows Vista offering one-click simplicity for casual users and detailed, professional grade testing for industry, press and enthusiasts.

A PCMark score is a measure of your computer’s performance across a variety of common tasks such as viewing and editing photos, video, music and other media, gaming, communications, productivity and security.

From desktops and laptops to workstations and gaming rigs, by comparing your PCMark Vantage score with other similar systems you can find the hardware and software bottlenecks that stop you from getting more from your PC.

Results: After a few runs of this benchmark I noticed that it was very hard to get consistent results across the entire platform. I'm not sure if it's from Turbo mode on the i7 processor or if the benchmark tends to be inconsistent. I plan to spend a little more time playing around with it. The one result that I could count on being consistent was the memory score, which we have here. By now it should be no surprise that the HyperX T1 6GB leads the way with its lower timings, while the HyperX T1 3GB kit is right behind it with great performance as well.
