3DMark 2006
3DMark 06 is the worldwide standard in advanced 3D game performance benchmarking. 3DMark06 tests include HDR/SM3.0 graphics tests, advanced SM2.0 graphics tests, AI and physics driven single and multiple core CPU tests and a collection of comprehensive feature tests to reliably measure next generation gaming performance today.
Results: The HD4830 struggles a little bit in 3D Mark 2006, a program that is more focused toward SM 2.0 and 3.0, rather than 4.0 or better when the HD4830 seems to shine.
Results: Here we can see that the overall scores are really hurt by the poor showing in the SM 2.0 portions of the tests. The HD4830 does pretty well in the Shader Model 3.0 runs.
