GRID and Crysis
Race Driver: GRID (known as GRID in North America) is the latest addition to the TOCA Touring Car series by Codemasters, published and developed by the same company. It was announced on April 19, 2007, and is available for the PlayStation 3 , Xbox 360,Nintendo DS and PC. The game was released on June 3, 2008 in North America. Race Driver: GRID uses Codemasters' own Ego engine, an evolved version of the Neon engine already used in their previous release Colin McRae DIRT. The damage code has been completely rewritten to allow for persistent damage environments.

Crysis
Crysis is a science fiction first-person shooter computer game that was developed by Crytek, and published by Electronic Arts. It was released on November 15, 2007 in the United States. The game is based off the CryENGINE2 game engine, which is an extended version of CryENGINE, the game engine behind the hit game Far Cry a number of years ago. The full retail version of the game Crysis was used with patch 1.21 for benchmarking. FRAPS was used over the internal benchmark utility to help avoid driver enhancements. Legit Reviews has just NVIDIA data for this game as we just recently updated the game to version 1.21 and picked a new scene to run FRAPS on and didn't have time to re-test all the cards in time for this article, but managed to get a number of the high end cards tested.

Benchmark Results: Both Crysis and Race Driver: GRID showed signs of improvement with increased memory frequency. Both games were run at 1280x1024 with medium quality settings in this test in case you are curious what the settings were. I manually benchmarked Race Driver: GRID using FRAPS and averaged several runs on the same course to the results for the chart.
