Introduction and Specs

When it comes to today’s motherboard players, certainly one of the best when it comes to packing performance, features and bundle all together has to be Asus. We have talked quite a bit lately about how there is very little performance difference between boards that are coming out today. Certainly, there is not enough performance to warrant purchasing a board that costs $350 over a board that costs $200 or under. There has to be something else to warrant the cost. That is where Asus excels. Their boards have stellar performance, and they know how to package and deliver the goods along with it.
One such board is the one we have to look at today. Featuring the NVIDIA nForce 790i SLI chipset, the Asus Striker II NSE is another board in the line of the Republic Of Gamers series that is geared to the enthusiast and hard core gamer. This board brings a lot with it, so let’s get right to work. First off, let's look at the specs for the board.
