The Test System
Before we look at the numbers, here is a brief glance at the test system that was used.

All testing was done on a fresh install of Windows Vista Ultimate 32-bit. All benchmarks were completed on the desktop with no other software programs running. The ASUS M3N-HT Deluxe motherboard was tested with the latest BIOS available at the time, which was version 0701. NVIDIA nForce 18.11 drivers were used for the chipset and Forceware 175.16 drivers were installed for the video card.
Memory Settings:
- Corsair XMS2 PC2-6400C4 800MHz @ 4-4-4-12 1T (DDR2)
