Everst Ultimate Edition is a professional system information, diagnostics and benchmarking program for Win32 platforms. It extracts details of all components of the PC. It also tests the actual read and write speeds of your memory giving a fairly accurate look of true memory performance.

Results: Everest Ultimate 4.00 build 1053 showed significant differences in nearly every test between these five different memory kits. In the Read test it was obvious that the Kingston HyperX modules performed the best thanks to the higher clock frequency (1375MHz) and tighter timings. In the 'Latency' test the CL5 modules were able to pull 3ns ahead of the CL7 Kingston kit, which goes to show how tighter timings improve latency. The Super Talent kit faired the worst in this benchmark and that is because it can only run a 2T Command Rate, which really hurts performance as you can see. The Corsair DHX and OCZ Platinum PC3-10666 memory kits can run 1T timings without a problem like the two Kingston kits can.
