Company of Heroes
Company of Heroes is set during World War II where the player follows a military unit, known as Able Company, as they fight their way through some of the greatest and bloodiest battles, including the D-Day landings at Normandy.
Finishing out our tests we see the Albatron 8600 GTS performing very near the middle of the pack in Company of Heroes. We saw in Vegas that the shader performance of the 8600 cards was important but it is less of a determining factor here. Memory performance seems to be the key with COH with the X1950, 7900 GS, and 7900 GT all have a clear advantage with their 256-bit bus compared to the 128-bit of the 8600's.
