XFX 8800 GTS 320MB XXX

We decided to pull the heatsink off our XXX card to see what changes were made. In the lower right hand corner you can see that two memory IC's are missing.

Here is a closer shot of the heatspreader after it's been cleaned up a bit. Notice that our card is using A2 silicone.

And here is a shot of the memory IC. After spending some time with my Green Lantern secret decoder ring I was able to figure out that these IC's are in fact rated for 1.8GHz operation with a max temperature of 85c. The 320MB card uses the same pair of 5x64-bit wide memory channels but lowers the density of the memory from 64MB to 32MB.

Here we see the standard connectors complete with two Dual Link DVI. Perfect for running a pair of those 30" widescreen monitors.
