Hardly anything really needs to be said about the Silencer 750. it is a great unit that has ultra stable rails. It has plenty of connections for all the gadgets in your box. It is SLi certified, and has a single 12v rail of 60A!!! I am not too crazy about the bronze color, I am a fan of black myself. But alas! THis unit comes in black as well! It is a very quiet unit, adjusting fan speed as the temperature needs require. And above all that, it comes with its own power cord! (JK- like we all do not have 1000 of those!) The unit also comes in a "QUAD" variety, which sports 4 pci-e connnectors for running in quad SLi.
The only drawback that I see is the price, but as I said at the beginning of this review, this is not an area i would skimp on price. If you want the best compnents available you have to pay the price. If you want to take one of the biggest hindrances to overclocking success out of the picture, you have to pay for it. So, yes, for me it is worth the price. Whenther it is for you or not depends on what you want to do with your box.
Legit Bottom Line:
PC Power & Cooling has continued its legacy of excellent performing power supplies in the Silencer 750. If you want quality, and do not mind paying for it, it just does not get any better than this.
