Quake 4
ID Software?s QUAKE 4, developed by Raven Software, takes players into an epic invasion on a barbaric alien planet in one of the most anticipated first person shooters for 2005. Even today in 2006 Quake 4 is played by professional gamers around the world in the fames World Series of Video Games (WSVG) and is one of the most played first person shooters on the market today.

Moving on to a more real world benchmark shows us that indeed the Intel is the faster board for gaming. It's obvious that Quake 4 likes memory bandwidth.

While it's not quite the difference we saw in 3DMark, the Intel board does show better performance. Strangely the Intel running at DDRII 533 is fastest here and DDRII 800 is the slowest for the board.
