The latest version of this synthetic benchmark. Default runs made with default driver settings. For reference we've included results from our previous article below the latest results.
What a difference the processor makes! Last time around with the 3700+ we saw that the highest score turned in was the 7800GTX 512 SLI system. Now with the processor upgrade we see the single X1900XTX nearly score the same as that SLI system!!
This time around the X1900's put a little distance between themselves and the 7800GTX 512 in single card performance. In dual card configuration it's a little closer but CrossFire is able to pull off a slightly higher score.
