A Closer Look

While not quite as flashy as Crucial's "Tracer" modules, the Ballistix modules are still quite nice with a black PCB covered by a gold heat spreader adorned with the Ballistix logo prominently displayed across the middle.
The modules we'll work with today are labeled as follows:

- BL 12864Z503 16TD
- Batch: CL1115N.N2
- PN: 56278

The Z503 label has shown to be an extremely popular choice among gamers and enthusiasts as its Micron -5b D chips have the ability to not only scale well past its DDR500 rating, but also run extremely tight timings of 2-2-2-5 at DDR400, all at rated or slightly elevated voltages.
Lets move on to some stability testing and take a closer look at our test setup.
