Battlefield 3
Our first test is done with Battlefield 3, EA’s current hit FPS. Battlefield 3 is a DirectX10/11 game, and therefore can only be run on Windows Vista or later.
Our tests were run using the Ultra preset, which features 4x MSAA and 16X Anisotropic Filtering, with ambient occlusion set to HBAO. On these settings the game is visually stunning. With a strong presence of tessellation and gorgeous lighting, this is a perfect game to really see the power of our test cards!

As you can see, our XFX 7870 was well ahead of the pack here. Even besting it's little brother, the XFX 7850 Black Edition. At 1280x1024 it was 7% faster than our second fastest card, and at 1920x1080 it was just 3% faster.
