Battlefield 3
Our first test is done with Battlefield 3, EA’s current hit FPS. Battlefield 3 is a DirectX10/11 game, and therefore can only be run on Windows Vista or later.
Our tests were run using the Ultra preset, which features 4x MSAA and 16X Anisotropic Filtering, with ambient occlusion set to HBAO. On these settings the game is visually stunning. With a strong presence of tessellation and gorgeous lighting, this is a perfect game to really see the power of our test cards!
Test Results: As you can see, the XFX Radeon 7850 Black Edition was very far ahead of the pack in our tests. Coming in at 62.4 Frames Per Second on our 1920x1080 resolution test is pretty impressive. That means with full detail settings you're able to play with out any noticeable lag at all.
