Powerline Speed Test Results – Farthest Room
For the “Farthest Room” tests we tested the speeds between two computers that were on two separate floors of the house. The approximate distance between power plugs was about ~100 feet. Again we used LAN Speed Test and our results are shown below.
Once again, the D-Link speeds came out ahead of the TrendNET, Netgear and Belkin on this test. The Belkin did much better in that it was in shooting range of the top performers at this distance, but it was still disappointing when you looked at how the unit did overall in handling both large and small data packets.
