Running CrossFire on the 7900 Series
Last week the AMD launched the Radeon HD 7950 video card and we brought you a review on both the reference card and the XFX R7950 Black Edition Double Dissipation graphics card. The one thing that we didn't cover in that review was CrossFire performance with a pair of Radeon HD 7950 cards. We have already covered the core architecture and the features of this card in our launch article, so we are going to jump right into things. If you don't know the basics on this card we highly advise that you go back and check out that

Our friends up at AMD sent us a pair of reference card, so today we'll be looking at CrossFire performance!

Since we are using AMD Radeon HD 7950 3GB reference cards the clock speeds are running at 800MHz on the Core and 1250MHz on the memory. You can find cards like this on the market for $449.99 shipped. With a setup like this costing $900, you are going to want to check out the performance before ordering a pair! Let's get right to it.
