CrystalDiskMark v3.0.1

CrystalDiskMark is a small HDD benchmark utility for your hard drive that enables you to rapidly measure sequential and random read/write speeds.

1000MB Files Test on Kingston HyperX 3.0 64GB:

CrystalDiskMark v3.0 Benchmark

Benchmark Results: For testing we ran CrystalDiskMark v3.0.1b  with a file size of 1000MB on and found impressive benchmark results for a USB 3.0 flash drive!  The Kingston DataTraveler HyperX 3.0 64GB drive was able to hit 243MB/s in the sequential read test and 159.0MB/s in the write test.  These scores are well above the rated 225MB/s read and 135MB/s write scores. The 512K read scores were off the chart, but as you can see the drive is not optimized for 512K or 4K write speeds.

ATTO Disk Benchmark v2.47

ATTO is one of the oldest hard drive benchmarks that is still used today. ATTO measures transfers across a specific volume length. It measures raw transfer rates for both reads and writes and places the data into graphs that you can easily interpret. The test was run with the default runs of 0.5kb through 8192kb transfer sizes with the total length being 256mb.

Benchmark Results: On the USB 3.0 header the Kingston DataTraveler HyperX 3.0 64GB Flash Drive was able to run at 246MB/s read and 161MB/s write, which is once again well beyond the 225MB/s read and 135MB/s write ratings given by Kingston. These are really insane performance numbers when you think about it!

HD Tune v5.00

HD Tune Pro 5.00 is an extended version of HD Tune which includes many new features such as write benchmark, secure erasing, AAM setting, folder usage view, disk monitor, command line parameters and file benchmark.

HD Tune Benchmark

Benchmark Results: The Kingston DataTraveler HyperX 3.0 64GB Flash Drive averaged 241.9 MB/s for the read test and had a burst rate of 114.4 MB/s. The CPU usage remained low at just 2.4% and so did the access time of 0.445 ms.

HD Tune Benchmark

Benchmark Results: The file benchmark transfer speed test showing a sequential read speed of 238 MB/s and a write speed of 157 MB/s. This drive isn't designed for primary storage, but some people like to see the 4K random IOPS performance numbers. Here you can see the 4K random IOPS being around 1700 read and 50 write.
