Power Consumption
For testing power consumption, we took our test system and plugged it into a Kill-A-Watt power meter. For idle numbers, we allowed the system to idle on the desktop for 15 minutes and took the reading. For load numbers we measured the peak wattage used by the system while running The Aliens vs. Predator video game at a resolution of 1920x1080..
Power Consumption Results: The idle wattage usage for the Diamond Radeon HD 6770 XOC GPU is 26 watts above the lowest wattage on our chart at 136 watts. The load wattage came in at 248 watts which is actually the lowest I have seen yet.
