EVGA Superclock CPU Cooler

EVGA Superclock CPU Cooler

EVGA has decided to throw their hat into the air cooling market. Their first offering is the EVGA Superclock. The Superclock is an H.D.T. or Heatpipe Direct Touch CPU cooler, meaning the heatpipes sit directly on the CPU heat spreader. H.D.T. coolers tend to be lighter than their solid base counterparts.

The design of the cooling fins have a cavity formed in the center and solid sides that create an air tunnel that forces air to the outer edges around the center. In the outer edges around the center most heatpipes are arranged in such a way that they sit in the air flow.

The fan for the Superclock is a 120mm red LED fan that pushes 26 to 84CFM at 750 to 2500RPM. The Superclock is will bolt up to Intel LGA 775/1155/1156/1366 sockets as well as AMD sockets 754/939/F/AM2/AM3.
