AIDA64 Memory Testing & Windows Index Score
AIDA64 Extreme Edition software, a streamlined diagnostic and benchmarking tool for home users is a test that we used to run years ago and we have started to run it again now that Everest no longer exists.
Benchmark Results: Running AIDA64 Extreme Edition we found the read and write memory bandwidth scores to be right around 3GB/s and that seems a little low for DDR3 memory even though the Brazos platfrom runs single channel memory. Our test system had a pair of Micron 2GB DDR3-1333MHZ DDR3 SDRAM modules on it in case you are curious what brand and speed memory we had on the test system.
AMD said that AIDA64 and Sandra were both not reading the memory properly on the Zacate E-350 APU, but they said that the Windows System Assessment Tool (Winsat) would be able to work properly. Here you can see that the score was 4616.22MB/s or right around 4.6GB/s. AMD said that this seemed a little low to them, but that is what our test system showed and that is what we went with. Since we using the Windows System Assessment Tool we ran an updated and recorded the score of the Brazos platform.
As you can see our system had a Windows 7 Index base score of 3.8. The Processor had the lowest subscore and you can see the graphics score wasn't too far behind. The primary hard disk has an amazing 7.9 subscore as the test system that we were given ran a Crucial C300 SSD.
