At 18" wide and 13.4" deep, The Comforter Lapdesk easily fits laptops all the way up to 17" which makes it one of few stands that large. The bottom of the Comfort Lapdesk is made of standard plastic, the top is a polyurethane sponge with cloth on top, and the non-slip feet are made of Ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA). Weighing in at just over one pound this stand is very light and easy to carry around and handle, though its dimensions limit where you can put it on the go.

 

Diving right into things, the packaging the Choiix Comfort Lapdesk comes in is simply a thin dense cardboard sleeve with a few sketches of its "intended uses" detailed on the back. The guys at Cooler Master did a great job with the imagery on this, being very simplistic yet still showing most of the ways you would actually use it.

On the back of the retail package sleeve you find the specifications as well as a couple more usage graphics. Note this version is C-HS02-KA which has the black plastic bottom (or top depending how you are using it), where C-HS02-WA has a white plastic bottom.

The cloth side of the Choiix Comforter Lapdesk is very soft, yet the sponge material is still firm enough to not let your laptop sink into it at all.

The plastic is textured and very firm making a good table-like tray, although it is not totally flat (aside from the ~2" tall ridge). This side of the ridge is also very good for holding electronics (cell phone/mp3 player/power brick).
