HD Tach v3.0.4.0 & CrystalDiskMark v3.0

HD TACH 3.0.4.0

HD Tach is a low level hardware benchmark for random access read/write storage devices such as hard drives, removable drives (ZIP/JAZZ), flash devices, and RAID arrays. HD Tach uses custom device drivers and other low level Windows interfaces to bypass as many layers of software as possible and get as close to the physical performance of the device as possible.

Benchmark Results: The HD Tach scores are very good with consistent performance throughout the test and the F120 drive again paces the F100 which again, is to be expected.

CrystalDiskMark 3.0d

CrystalDiskMark is a small benchmark utility for drives and enables rapid measurement of sequential and random read/write speeds.

Benchmark Results: As Yogi Berra once said, this is like déjà vu all over again with the results from the F100 and F120 drives. This is a good thing as they are both strong performers although with this benchmark, they aren't head and shoulders above all of the other drives.

On to the last set of benchmarks.
