3DMark Vantage

3DMark Vantage

3DMark Vantage is the industry standard PC gaming performance benchmark from Futuremark, designed for Windows Vista/7 and DirectX10. It includes two graphics tests, two CPU tests, several feature tests, and support for the latest hardware. 3DMark Vantage is based on a completely new rendering engine, developed specifically to take full advantage of DirectX10.

3DMark Vantage Settings

Testing was run with the 'Performance' preset shown above at the default resolution of 1280x1024. Only the GPU score is included because the test system was only using a dual core CPU so the overall score just gets crippled on all cards with a GPU score under 6,500. Not to mention the overall score is irrelevant when comparing GPU's with PhysX disabled anyway

XFX Radeon HD 5770 3DMark Vantage Test Results

In FutureMark's 3DMark Vantage, mix crossfire again had a significant gain and the GeForce GTX 260 Black beat out the XFX Radeon HD 5770 by a little less than 1000 3dmarks.
