Now that we know what features are integrated into the Cooler Master HAF 932 AMD Edition, we can take a look at what they will do for you.
The Cooler Master HAF 932 AMD Edition features six external drive bays, one of which can be converted to a 3.5 inch drive. Cooler Master was kind enough to include a 5.25 inch drive cover that has a cut-out which will allow you to use a 3.5 inch drive with the included internal brackets.
A close up of the front panel reveals 4 USB plugs, Firewire, Audio jacks, activity lights and an e-sata port. These are all important features to have easy access to.
The side panel of the Cooler Master HAF 932 AMD Edition case has a window adorned with the AMD Dragon. The "Dragon" platform technology from AMD is a synthesis of power, strength, and wisdom: the fusion of the AMD Phenom II processor, ATI Radeon HD 4800 series graphics, AMD 7-series chipsets and AMD software that puts you in control. Another key feature on the side panel is the vents on the lower right side of the panel; behind the vents is the hard drive cage. These will allow the exchange of air and assist in keeping your drives cooler.
The rear of the Cooler Master HAF 932 AMD Edition case is not as exciting as the rest of the case, though it's not without its points. The exhaust fan is a 140 x 25mm fan which is rated for 1200RPM and only 17dBA. Also note that you can mount your power supply on either the top or the bottom of the case. The power supply can also be orientated either way to suit your needs. The plate filling in the top power supply mount comes pre-drilled with grommets in place. This is nice if you are planning on running an external water cooling loop.
The top of the Cooler Master HAF 932 AMD Edition case has no shortage of ventilation. Coming to the party with a 230x30mm red LED fan, it moves an impressive 150CFM at only 700rpm and 19dBA! You also have the option to mount 3x120mm fans of your choice underneath the top of the case.
The top of the chassis also comes with an integrated tray that can be used to store little odds and ends. Beneath the rubber pad in the tray is a hole to provide easy access to a fill port for a water cooling set-up. Of course, you also have the power and reset buttons on the top as well.
Another thing that I like about the Cooler Master HAF 932 AMD Edition case is something that is typically ignored by most. Most cases will have a window, vents or some sort of defining characteristic on one side of the case and a plain black panel on the other. Not the HAF 932 AMD Edition: Cooler Master wisely threw out the idea of a plain black side panel here and stamped some clearance for the cable you want to hide. While it is still a black panel it's not plain; the Cooler Master HAF 932 AMD Edition case will stand out from whatever angle it's seen from.
