HD Tune Pro 3.50 is an extended version of HD Tune which includes many new features such as write benchmark, secure erasing, AAM setting, folder usage view, disk monitor, command line parameters and file benchmark.

Benchmark Results: Using a Seagate XT 2TB Hard Drive (ST32000641AS) hard drive for testing we showed huge performance gains once again with the average read rate of USB 2.0 at 29.3 MB/s, and with USB 3.0 that average jumped up to 110.1 MB/s. This is just over three times the performance of USB 2.0 and one of the reasons why so many people will want to move over to USB 3.0 devices as time goes on! The Gigabyte 890GPA-UD3H motherboard has solid USB 3.0 performance from the testing that we have done on it thus far.
