CrystalDiskMark v3.0

CrystalDiskMark is a small HDD benchmark utility for your hard drive that enables you to rapidly measure sequential and random read/write speeds.

100MB Files Test:

CrystalDiskMark v2.2 Benchmark

Benchmark Results: With Crystal Mark v3.0 run with a file size of 100MB we got amazing sequential read and write performance. This is what having a SATA 6Gbps drive is all about! We hit 362MB/s on the sequential read benchmark! Amazing!  Even sequential write speed at 212MB/s was off the chain. The Crucial RealSSD C300 256GB SSD eats up this benchmark and is very fast.

Crystal Mark Benchmark Results

100MB Files Test Comparison Chart: The C300 256GB drive came very close to leading all of the tests in our highlight chart. Since the Vertex 2 Pro series has been canceled it actually does lead for retail drives that are actually on the market today. The 4K tests in HD Tune 4.01 showed the RealSSD C300 as being the slowest of the group, but the CrystalDiskMark v3.0 results show it as the fastest. This makes you wonder which benchmark is properly coded and is the one you should base your purchasing decision from.
