CPU Temperature Testing

With our Intel Core i7 test bench running stock settings we can see how the Zalman CNPS 10X Extreme performs. With the fan running at 100% the CNPS 10X Extreme did very well. Cooling the system to a nice 57.50*C, it is a full 12* cooler than stock cooling, and only 3* off of our first place cooler, the Titan Fenrir. Running the pre-set modes the CNPS 10X Extreme fell in the pack, but still did well. The Fan was quiet on the pre-set levels, but rather noisy on the manual setting.

With the test system overclocked the CNPS 10X Extreme is tied in 5th on our charts with the Noctua NH-U12P single fan configuration. Running at 68*C, it is 9* cooler than the stock Intel HSF and still only 2.75* warmer than the Titan Fenrir.
