AS SSD Benchmark

A new benchmark is in the works for Solid State Drives - AS SSD Benchmark. We have run this benchmark for several months now and found that it is a great SSD benchmark that shows 4K read and write speeds that so many of our readers want to know about.

Benchmark Results: This is the first drive review that we have included this version of AS SSD test results in and the results were very interesting.  The 4K writes were impressive at 20.24MB/s read and 39.45MB/s write in IDE mode and even faster in AHCI mode. The 4K-64Thrd benchmark results were insane in AHCI mode!

Copy Benchmark Results: The Copy benchmark test showed some fairly solid performance numbers and once again AHCI mode is faster than IDE mode.
