RightMark Audio Analyzer

The RightMark Audio Analyzer suite is designed for testing quality of analog and digital paths of any audio devices, be it a sound card, an MP3 player, a consumer CD/DVD player or an acoustic set. The results are obtained by playing and recording test signals passed through the tested audio path by means of frequency analysis algorithms.   • ASUS P8Z77-V Deluxe – Realtek ALC898 codec
  • GIGABYTE Z77X-UD5H WiFi – Realtek ALC898 codec
  • BIOSTAR TX77XE4 – Realtek ALC898 codec
  • MSI Z77A-GD65 – Realtek ALC898 codec

Each of our motherboards uses the same audio codec as we can see above. Each of the boards received an overall general performance score of Good per Rightmark Audio Analyzer. There isn’t much variation between the motherboards but there is some. The GIGABYTE Z77X-UD5H does look to have the best ratings across the series of scores, though.
