No review is complete without taking a look at power and the AMD Ryzen 7 1800X actually did really well considering it is an 8-core processor with a 95W TDP.
At idle the AMD Ryzen 7 1800X Processor used 44.2W at idle and that is impressive as includes the MSI X370 motherboard, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 FE video card, SSD and the HDF. The processor topped out at 174W in Handbrake and 273W when playing Thief at 1080P.
