Rocket League, Breakpoint, Final Fantasy XIV

Rocket League

Rocket League is a vehicular soccer video game developed and published by Psyonix. The game was first released for Microsoft Windows and PlayStation 4 in July 2015, yet over 80,000 people a day are still playing this game title.

We cranked up the image quality to ‘very high,’ maxed out the FPS limiter to 250 FPS and enabled all the effects that we could. There is no built-in benchmark for this game title, so we used FRAPS to benchmark actual gameplay.

The Zephyrus G14 gaming laptop had absolutely no problems on this game title and averaged 216.5 FPS with a minimum FPS of 189.3.

Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Breakpoint

Next up we have Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Breakpoint, which was released in 2019 on Microsoft Windows by Ubisoft. The game is the eleventh installment in the Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon franchise and is a narrative sequel to the 2017 video game Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands.

On this game title we used the ‘Very High’ image quality preset and disabled VSync.

With these settings at a 1080P display resolution we averaged 85 FPS with a minimum FPS of 60 and a maximum of 133 FPS.

Final Fantasy XIV: Shadowbringers

Final Fantasy XIV: Shadowbringers is the third expansion for Final Fantasy XIV and was released on July 2, 2019. We used the games standalone benchmark utility to check out performance of the Ghost Canyon Extreme NUC.

We used the Maximum, High (desktop), and Standard (desktop) image quality presets to benchmark the Zephyrus G14.

The average FPS on all three image quality presets were over 80 FPS and the benchmark ran very smooth.
