16.8 million RGB combinations are available to change the headset lights. Note that the light on each earcup cannot be customized separately from the other.
The headset lights are moderately luminous and are barely visible In direct light or in a very well-lit room.

Going back to the SteelSeries Engine 3 control program, there are four lighting effects selectable from a drop down menu. Steady and Breathe are the most straightforward.
Audio Volume Trigger flashes the light in orange depending on the loudness of the sound played through the headset. This effect is best used for games because the refresh rate isn’t fast enough for music or movies to make the lights pulse fluidly.
Colorshift features a palette with various gradients representing transiting light effects.
