Nanoxia Deep Silence 1 Mid-Tower Case Review

Final Thoughts of the Deep Silence 1

Now for a chassis to be classified as a mid-tower and still be able to rival full-tower chassis is no easy feat. And when it comes to the Deep Silence 1, this chassis does exactly that. It gives us most of the capabilities that are only available in full tower chassis while maintaining a somewhat small foot print of the mid tower chassis. I will have to say that the Deep Silence 1 is another prime example that completely rethinks on how mid-tower cases are supposed to be like.

Deep Silence 1

There are a couple of areas that concern me with the Deep Silence 1 chassis. Mostly these are areas that can be fixed by ensuring better quality control. Having HDD cages themselves arrive bent up did not help matters because I had to straighten them in order to remove the HDD carriers. Finally, the last one is the upper fan holder locking mechanism did not properly lock the fan into place. Again these areas can be reduced to a minimum by ensuring a higher quality control at the manufacturing plant or improved shipping boxes.

Deep Silence 1

I am going to have to be honest here, receiving a chassis that had some problems like the Deep Silence 1 had when I first received it did put a sour taste in my mouth. But, even I realize that sometimes things do go wrong and not everything is going to be perfect all the time. So I will not hold the above issues against the overall scoring of the Deep Silence 1 mid-tower chassis.

The Deep Silence 1 chassis does come in four different color variations for us to choose from. These color choices are: Dark Black, White, Anthracite, and finally Silver. This case is available in Europe with an MSRP of $109. Nanoxia will begin selling cases on Newegg at the end of November or early December, so they will be available in North America very soon! Right now they are shipping the cases and they have to clear customs, so that is what is issue at hand!

Legit Bottom Line:

The Nanoxia Deep Silence 1 is one of many perfect candidates for our computer systems that offers us usability in the years to come with an ever evolving ever changing computer world.
