Video encoding is an important task in today’s world. X264 HD Benchmark is a great way to see how well a computer can encode a HD quality video using the x264 encoder. Using the same video clip and settings makes it a prime candidate for an easily reproducible performance test. It runs the process through several passes and presents the results in Frame per Second for each of the passes.
Benchmark Results: With the x264 Encoding Benchmark, the Gigabyte Z97X-UD3H-BK scored the pretty close to the same score between the three Z97 test systems. The 1st Pass test of x264 was in the middle of the three, while the 2nd Pass was slightly slower than the other two systems.
