Turtle Beach Z60 7.1 Audio Gaming Headset Review

Turtle Beach Z60 Packaging

When taking a look at the box for the Ear Force Z60 headset, the front of the box provides just enough information to get your attention. With a nice view of the headset, you begin to get a feel for it. A few features are also called out on the left side of the box, while the biggest feature is in the lower right corner, DTS HeadphoneX compatibility.

Flip the box around to the back and you get much more information on the Z60 headset and the 7.1 Surround Sound Control Unit.

The sides provide a little additional information, but most of it you are already familiar with if you read the front and back of the box. On one of the sides, the 7.1 Surround Sound Control Unit is detailed to provide a large amount of information to get the headset up and running fast. While the other side, gives some information on the 60mm speakers.

Removing the outer slipcover, and opening the red box, we find a light weight plastic tray that holds a little literature box and the microphone.

Below the first tray of literature and microphone, we have the headphones and the control unit. These are easily removed and can be used right out of the box.

All in all, inside the box there are very few accessories included. The headphones, microphone and 7.1 Surround Sound Control Unit is all the hardware that is here. Inside the Literature box, we have the standard Warranty notification, a detailed Quick Start Guide, and a Turtle Beach sticker.
