Benchmarking The Core 2 Extreme QX6700 Processor

Intel has allowed for controlled benchmarking of their next generation Extreme series processor and Legit Reviews was on hand to take it out for a test drive. The Intel Core 2 Extreme QX6700 Processor operates at 2.66GHz and shows some serious processing muscle even though it’s all run on pre-production hardware. Intel Shows D975XBX2 BIOS and QX6700 Overclocking

Intel showed off their Intel D975XBX2 ‘Bad Axe 2’ motherboard BIOS and did some overlocking with the upcoming Intel Core 2 Quad QX6700 processor here at IDF and Legit Reviews was on hand taking the exclusive shots of the presentation while it happened. Intel Officially Announces Quad-Core Processors

During the opening keynote speach Intel CEO Paul Otellini discussed in some detail the company?s plan for delivering the industry?s first quad core processors for PCs and high-volume servers. The first processor, targeted at gamers and content creators, will be shipped in November and be called the Intel Core 2 Extreme quad-core processor.
