NZXT Hale82 V2 550W White PSU Review

Testing results (Regulation & Ripple)

The electrical performance of the NZXT Hale82 V2 550W power supply is good, yet far from astounding. Voltage regulation is at about 2.8% for all voltage lines, much lower than the design limit of 5% and very good for a performance product. Ripple suppression is good, with the maximum recorded ripple on the 12V line being 60mV under maximum load, half of the 120mV allowable maximum.

I don’t agree that it is recommended, not even sure it deserves a pass. For the same price you can get gold more updated units at the same wattage that perform way better (e.g. CM’s V550S). Enough said but thanks for the review tho.

I don’t think you understand what you’re saying here. The internals of nearly every Corsair PSU, bar the AX series which is made by Seasonic, are nothing better than anything that you would find in a cheap, no-name PSU. Sorry to be blunt but it’s the truth – Corsair power supplies straight up aren’t that good.
