Steelseries Siberia V2 Frost USB-Powered Headset Review

The installation of the headset requires a download from the SteelSeries website. I usually prefer that an installation CD is used, but downloading the latest software ensures that the latest driver and firmware are installed for the Siberia V2 headset. After downloading the software and running the executable, we were taken through a series of questions.

As always we must agree to their license agreement.

Next we must choose a location to install the software.

Then the installation begins and takes a few minutes to complete. During the install, I noticed that the software was checking the firmware version of the headset and upgrading as needed.

Once everything is installed and upgraded, the SteelSeries Engine is now ready for use.
